Whether you are a Person directing your own services, a Coordinator of Community Services, a Case Manager, a Support Broker, Transition Coordinator, Administrator... facilitating person centered, service, strategic, organizational planning meetings ~ ANY type of meeting ~ this is for you!

Organizations are turning increasingly to collaborative approaches to get work done better and faster. Planning meetings require the best of us in collaboration with others. Practice to manage these skills ~ the result is highly productive, action oriented meetings.

This two-day course in the active facilitation approach ~ presents the role of the facilitator as a combination of leading and supporting, and offers techniques designed to help groups be as creative and productive as they can be, focusing on the skills of:

• Organizing and preparing for meetings
• Opening work sessions
• Leading group discussions
• Helping groups reach consensus  
• Managing conflict in groups
• Brainstorming
